manager and full time mom. Website: www.caringbridge.org/visi - t/godblessyou.com Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Nicole: I am married to my best friend, Rick. We have been married for 13 years. We have 2 beautiful and sweet children, Brittany (11 1/2) and Brandon (8) . I have been living in the Twin Cities area for 19 years. I have not been to Grand Rapids for a long time, because my parents retired and moved to Branson, MO. They sold thier house to Jack Mooris (He was the pitcher for the Minnesota Twins). Right now I am a full time mom, due to my severe illness. (I suffer from chronic pancreatitis). In Feb. 06 and last Christmas, I had to be put into 2 induced comas in only one years time. During the first one (Feb.06) my priest gave me my last rites because the doctors told my family my chances for any recovery was very grim. I was in a coma for 12 days. The second coma was during the first part of last Dec. I was in the coma for 6 days. I proved them wrong both times. I was in the hospital during Christmas. This was the hardist one to recover from. The medicine they used to indue the coma caused my legs to be paralyzed. I had to learn to walk all over again. 7 months later, I now havw almost complete feeing in them, all the way doen to my toes. My memory is also almost completley back. I am slowly getting stronger, and putting on some more weight. I am in and out of the hospital when the pancreatitis acts up. This all started when I went to Mayo Clinic. They punctured it. This has been going on for 5 years. I have had 5 surgeries on the duct not counting numerous other surgeries. On to better things we love to take our 32ft. moterhome out camping with family and friends, (our cabin on wheels). I want to thank everyone who has put in so much effort and time into this reunion. Great job!!!!!!! I am looking forward to the reunion! I have a web site for my family and friends to get updates regarding my illness. This is not a direct link to my website. Sorry it is so long! (For updated info from the start to my current fight with this nasty condition). www. caringbridge.org/visit/godblessyou.com |
